A Thankful Heart - Parach Daily Devotional

Today’s Parach session was welcomed by the Anchor of the Program, Swazi along with Pastor Evalister Kamwangala and Umberto Brasiello with the theme “ A THANKFUL HEART “, As this fifth month May represents Grace. And the scripture of the day is from Psalms 100:4-5, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

We are living in a society as the children of God, should be thankful for all the benefits that our Lord did in our lives. Prophet said in his book of Parach, that, we should enter the gates of His presence with a thankful heart, not because that we received the miracles or we received healing,  but He is He, that our Lord is good.

When we see Person David in the book of Psalms, He is such a joyous and jubilant person always gives praises with a thankful heart for all the benefits that Lord has done to him. At the very front, before he did anything,  he puts praise to God. The prophet always says that not to condemn ourselves as God forgot all your sins of past. But praise God for he redeemed you. When we praise God, our focus automatically shifts towards God, not to self. We could only think How big our God is, what he has done in my life, etc. Thus by giving thanksgiving praise, we can tap into the fullness of our God. Regardless of the benefits you receive, just honour your God, as He is your God, the creator of the Heavens and Earth. Let everything that has breath must praise the Lord!!

One must know that your God has plans of good for your future not to harm you. King David instructs us not to forget all the benefits that Lord has done to us. We are urged to thank for giving us His presence, His Prophet to lead us to come into our destinies and for every day’s Parach daily devotional. Beyond the circumstances, let’s worship our God with all our heart and Spirit. Then the session was ended with tremendous worship prayer with a thankful heart.
