Prophet Bushiri’s generous contribution of R400000 worth supplementary goods to the fire victims in Alex was recognized and remarked as a symbol of humanity and generosity. His consistent work in South Africa was ultimately perceived by the renowned organization “SakhululekaIsizwe”. They awarded Prophet Shepherd Bushiri for his charitable across the world.

Chief Makinana, the founder of the organization proclaimed that the contributions made by Bushiri essentially to the youth as well as to the children are worth mentioning. When the award is being presented to one of the Bushiri’s officials on Saturday last week in East London; Makinana underlined that his organization will fervently give boosting support to Bushiri that his inspiration to touch the lives of multitudes will never be disturbed.

This ceremony conducted for fund raising to support Frere hospital in the area was graced by Minister of Mines “GwedeMantashe”.

Mantashe said that the ruling African National Congress (ANC) was born in the church and it is a great encouraging factor to admire ECG and Prophet Bushiri are in fact, championing humanitarian activities.

At the end of the ceremony, the ‘SakhululekaIsizwe’ charity organization pledged R10000 to help children who were suffering from cancer, and Prophet Bushiri pledged to donate R30000 on the behalf of the ECG community.

The resident pastor in East London for ECG named “Apostle Baloyi” restated that the church is not only meant to feed the people spiritually but also physically.  He remarked Bushiri’s promising statements of how the ECG should preach beyond the pulpit. Within the church premises, there is spiritual food fetched to the individuals, while outside the church; helping alms are given to the needy.
