The parach daily devotional has been discussed among Pastor Evalister, Donota and Caroline Reynolds. The scripture for today is “Acts: 9:3”. It says “As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”
There are instances where sudden things happened in the scriptures. Here, God of heaven and Earth appeared to Saul suddenly. So the God who created heavens does things suddenly.
We serve the God of “suddenly”. We serve the God who does things suddenly. Suddenly God will create new ways, unexpected ways, new opportunities to come in our way. Only the people who listen to the word and voice of God can only experience this suddenness of God.
God creates new things, he creates new innovative things and does sudden things. God is never out of options. He always has multiple sudden things to do in our lives. All we have to do is ask God to make us understand the sudden things and what sudden things are happening in our lives.
We should always let God operate things. Even if we plan so much, we cannot stop letting God to not have control on it. He knows all and he does all. We must trust in God, his wisdom and truth. The action point to all the viewers is “Disappointment and discouragement should not be let happened to anybody.
