Umberto Brasiello greeted everyone and introduced Pastor William Kalonga and Praise Peterson while joining into today’s Prarach Daily Devotional session. The title of devotion is “GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU” and the scripture of the day is Psalm 37:18-19, “The days of the blameless are known to the LORD, and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster, they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.”
Pastor William Kalonga was very much excited to say that God has promised something to us today. In fact, God is talking to the blameless today. But who is blameless? One must believe that he is blameless by the expense paid by the Christ Jesus our Savior. As we are the Child of God, we are blameless. And we don’t need to look at any mistakes or shortfalls.
Praise Peterson further continued to share that God shall take of us. He also admitted that we are a part of God’s family, the sons and daughters. So the inheritance is over on us. And His very will towards His children is to take Care of everything we need. Once Prophet Major 1 has declared that God doesn’t take of everybody in the world, but he takes care of His children. Out of all creation, God has His own Children, who were born again in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In this challenging world, as we are in the days of wars, we should believe that we have the father God, who takes care of us. Though we go through some problems, we must know that we are the children of God. Having such confidence about God’s family we have and believe that we are blameless, we are going to see the reality of God’s revelation of His care. In the case of Israelites, when they are in Egypt, God protected His children of Israel, giving them supernatural light, care, provision etc, while Egyptians were suffering from darkness, diseases, floods.
They also remembered the story of Issac from Genesis chapter 26. As the Lord was with Isaac in the times of famine, Issac received hundredfold blessings. Because God took care of Issac. Even though in our financial Crisis, we don’t need to complain but look at the Lord, who takes care of our burdens and needs. Worry not, we are the Victor. Pastor William encouraged the viewers with this word, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:34. Then the session was ended with the powerful prayer that gives an assurance to the believers that they are having a Good who takes care of them.
