He Is A Good God - Parach Daily Devotional - 23rd May 2019

Today’s Parach daily devotional session welcomed the viewers of Worldwide by Joel Reynolds along with Pastor William and Pastor Cody Molter. The message title is “HE IS A GOOD GOD” and the scripture of the day is from Ezekiel 20:44, “You will know that I am the LORD, when I deal with you for my name’s sake and not according to your evil ways and your corrupt practices, O house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.'””

God is going to deal us by His namesake because of His unmerited favour and goodness, but not by our evil ways. His name is Jesus Christ. We are where we are today because of His namesake. Because of His overwhelming love, Christ died for us, while we are yet sinners. Since God is Love, He shed His Love for us. It is beyond our human comprehension to understand why God is showing love towards these sinners. We are justified in Christ Jesus today. It is the goodness of God, that leads the sinners to repent. It was evident that we shouldn’t be self-condemned but come to God, for You have been Loved by the finished work of Christ on the Cross.

They reclaimed that we are not justified by our goodness or Holiness, instead of by the goodness and Holiness of our God, manifested on His son Jesus on our behalf. In Ezekiel 36:22, “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name,”. So the prophet declared that God is going to bless us by His namesake.

Later the session was followed by this amazing prayer with Thanksgiving to God. The Viewers are encouraged to pray about the Love of God, As God has Loved us and called us His friend. Thanked God for clearing our paths and for making a way, even though it seems to be no way.
