Today’s Parach Daily Devotional was welcomed by Praise Peterson along with Pastor Donata and Pastor Layton. The title of today’s topic is “Let Your Conscience”. And the scripture of the day is from Hebrews 13:18, “Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honourably in every way.”
Prophet has wonderfully explained that there is a difference between knowing the right thing to do and doing it. Our conscience guides us but it is our inner strength encouraged that leads our tomorrow action. God gives us a conscience so that we can stay out of trouble. The truth of the matter is, when you were a child of God, you are filled with the Holy Spirit, and you get to know what is right and what is wrong, said Pastor Donata. Conscience is the person’s moral sense of right and wrong, that acts as a guide for one’s behaviour.
Conscience can be compared as the Window of the room through which the light of heaven shines into and through which we can see out the heaven. The Holy Spirit convicts us through our conscience to remove the darkness of sin in our room of life. The action point is the maintenance of good conscience by a believer from day to day is essential for this life. When we cover our sins, our hearts will be hardened. So the viewers are encouraged to as God to remove one’s sins and give clear conscience. It is also needed to Confess our sins and seek God’s forgiveness.
