The theme for today’s parach is having “sincere faith”. I Timothy:1:5 says ” The purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith. God wants each one of us to love him with all our heart and approach him with sincere faith. Like how a child believes in his/her parents likewise we as believers need to trust and believe in God. We should trust him as a father who cares for his children. He never betrays, leaves us alone or gives a bad judgement. The will and choice that he paves for us bring good to us.
Mark 11:24 says “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them”. As a believer, we should always reach God with a pure heart with good concerns towards God. God always notices a heart. Whatever and however we are, we should always come near to God just as what we are. We need not wear masks thinking that God is not aware of what is happening right in our lives. He is omniscient and omnipresent. He notices things that are currently happening in our lives and is a controller of all.
We need not disguise ourselves and have a pretentious heart before God since he understands what we are and what our current circumstances are. As a believer, one should never lose his heart and faith with the wavering circumstances and situations in life. The faith always sails against the circumstances and situations you are in. So one must always have faith and have a steady and give your whole heart to Jesus. Jesus never looks back and mocks you over the position you are in. He is a father more than a God and as a son who trusts his father blindly, a believer should always trust in the presence and words of God.
