The Parach devotional on 30.5.2019 is with Caroline Reynolds, Praise Peterson and Joel Reynolds. The title for today is “The Gift of Forgiveness”. The scripture for today is Ephesians: 4:32- “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” We are the product of forgiveness. Forgiving one another is useful. When we do not and withhold forgiveness for any reason against anyone, it only hardens our hearts. It prevents us to be sensitive to God. Any kind of resentment, an offence can hinder us from hearing and listening to the word of God.
If we want forgiveness from God, we should first forgive people who are acting with resentment, offences and sins against us. If we cannot forgive people, we cannot hear anything from God and our spiritual ears will be closed. The main theme of the parach is on forgiveness. To all the viewers, the parach is conveying a better meaning so that they will forego unforgiveness, resentment and offences.
We are all here because of forgiveness. One should release that bitterness from our hearts. Proverbs says that Hate stirs up trouble. The action point is forgiving those who hurt us. Give yourself the gift of forgiveness. It will bring peace to hearts. Forgiveness is to the one who is offended than to the one who offends. To all the viewers, Praise Peterson suggests receiving the gift of forgiveness
