The theme of today’s parach is “Your own measure of faith”. The parach has been discussed among Pastor Donota, Layton and Caroline Reynolds. The scripture for today is Romans:12:3.which says “For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you”. God has given each person a measure of faith so that he or she can operate on the community for the glory of Christ. Christ better knows what we are good at. He knows what kind of measure of faith each individual is measured with.
The Bible also talks about how each person in our life has a measure of faith and the way they also carry in the church shows that the things that these people invest their time through the will of God only makes them be one body in Christ. Bible says, Though we are many, we are one in Christ.
Humbleness and obedience come first for serving the Lord with a fervent spirit. The actions, the spirit, talents and the measure of faith are all properly planned and managed to be given into each individual’s body so that the Christ is glorified and he alone is responsible for this spiritual growth. We should never think highly of ours rather we should be sober-minded so as to make sound judgements.
The action point is whatever God has placed in us to work for the Lord should be done out of humbleness and with remembering the fact that God alone is responsible for giving us these talents and hence to be used for the kingdom of God.
